An embracing gathering place

Hotel Sakskøbing has a total of 4,000 m². We have small dining rooms, a large fully furnished courtyard, a lounge with room for forty, a conference hall with all modern av-equipment and room for 60 people and our iconic, almost 200-year-old theatre hall with stage, balcony and room for 150 dining guests – newly renovated with modern av-equipment.

A visit to Hotel Saxkjøbing is both luxury and down to earth. For more than 200 years, we have been a natural and embracing gathering place when people from near and far wanted to celebrate life’s small and large events.

We have extensive experience in developing and planning parties and events for both private individuals and companies – and are happy to help make your gathering something very special. From the moment you step through the old front door, we will do everything to give you and your guests the best day.

The kitchen cooks unostentatious, high-level food with seasonal ingredients from local farms, fishermen and food producers. You can look forward to local dining experiences out of the ordinary and high-level service delivered in a charming, historic setting.

When you have a party, large or small, at the hotel, we always provide a beautiful and well-set table with white tablecloths, cloth napkins, seasonal flowers in vases, lots of candles, table arrangements as desired and in one of the hotel’s beautiful old rooms adapted to the size of the party.
