After flirting with the bakery dream for a while - and in the summer of 2023 having smelled freshly baked bread in our small pop-up bakery "Bakery in Saxkjøbing" - we have now opened the doors to the hotel's very own bakery. Our bakers are Ivan Pejcic, originally from Falster and former baker at Galst and Hesnæs Harbour, and Naja Leander, who comes from a background as an accountant, but is now living out her baking dream. On a daily basis, the two bread artisans will bake sourdough bread and buns, rye bread, cardamom rolls, cake specialties and other fragrant temptations - all on organic, freshly milled flour. Everything to buy to take home or to enjoy on site in our new little café with a terrace facing the square.
